4 October 2014. Kantine am Berghain, Berlin. A scarab on the flyer, before anyone called it a signature.

the label

Techno from Mauritius. Run out of Berlin for twelve years, and from the island since. 130 to 145, dark, hypnotic, cut for a room and not for a phone.

the names

The tracks are named after the places they came from. Savinia is a cliff on the south coast. Gris Gris is the beach below it. Insomnia was a club in the north. The Dark Room was the other floor at A.G.

the hands

Written and mixed by Mutecell. Covers cut and collaged by hand, by Lola Dupré, Maca Rosee and Chloé Ip. Designed by AVNEESH, every record since the first. Finished at bōucan road, Mauritius.

the scarab

A sigil is a wish pressed into a shape so it can be carried. The scarab has never been anything else.
