this notice covers eeee.mu and everything ë runs from it: ● 20 ●, registrations, releases and news. ë works from mauritius. we keep what we collect to a minimum, and we never sell your data. this is the plain-language version · a fuller legal text is available on request.
who we are
eeee.mu, ● 20 ● and mōris are operated by the ë company: electrocaine ltd, BRN C07067713, 35 morc boucan road, phoenix, mauritius. we are the data controller for the information described here.
where your data lives
on our own server in mauritius (a postgres database we run ourselves). the website is delivered to you through cloudflare and hostinger.
what we collect
- your details, only when you register or sign up: name, email, country, the day(s) you pick for ● 20 ●, and a whatsapp number only if you give one.
- your choices: which boxes you ticked, the exact wording you saw, and when (so we can prove your consent).
- your codes: for ● 20 ●, a ticket code and a merch code we generate for you.
- basic safety: a one-way scrambled version of your ip address, kept briefly to stop spam. never the address itself.
- basic usage: privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (no cross-site tracking).
we do not store card or payment data.
why we use it
to register you for what you signed up to (like ● 20 ●), create your mōris member account, and give you your pass and codes. we send you news by email or whatsapp only if you ticked that box, and you can stop at any time.
how long we keep it
as long as your mōris account is open. close it and we delete your details, except the record of your consent, which the law asks us to keep.
your rights
you can access, correct, or delete your data (the right to be forgotten) at any time. email us and we'll action it. you can also withdraw consent and close your account. you can also complain to the data protection commissioner in mauritius.
sharing
we don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers. we use only the service providers needed to run eeee.mu and mōris, each under contract. some of these providers process data outside mauritius; we use them under contract and only as described here:
- google (google workspace): our email, and sign-in with google if you choose it.
- whatsapp business (meta): whatsapp messages, only if you gave a number and ticked that box.
- cloudflare: delivering the site and keeping it safe.
- hostinger: delivering the site.
