Force Indigène - Zamalgame (2024 Reissue) LPForce Indigène

Dive into the experimental sounds of Réunion Island with Force Indigène's "Zamalgame", a cult classic album deeply connected with the influential producer Jako Maron. Originally emerging in the early 2000s, this is the essential 2024 vinyl reissue from Nyege Nyege Tapes.

"Zamalgame" is a potent "zamalgame" (mixture) of electronic production, fragmented Maloya rhythms, Sega influences, dub effects, and raw Creole poetry/spoken word. It pushes the boundaries of traditional Réunionnais music, creating a unique, sometimes abstract, soundscape reflecting an innovative moment in the island's underground music scene. Essential for collectors of experimental electronic music and avant-garde Maloya.
