Ambiance de la Réunion avec Les Soul Men Vol.2 LP

Ambiance de la Réunion avec Les Soul Men, Vol. 2 is a vintage Réunion Island LP centred around the voice and repertoire of Gaby Lai-Kun, a prominent figure of Creole popular music. Backed by Les Soul Men, the album documents a studio-driven sega style typical of the late 1960s, 1970s, combining traditional rhythms with orchestral arrangements, electric instrumentation and chanson-influenced songwriting. This second volume continues the exploration of everyday Creole themes and dancefloor-ready sega from a key transitional period in Réunion’s recorded music history.
